Chat Speak

I don't get chat speaking........ Well, yeah, I know that 'plz' is please and 'cuz' is cause but I don't get why it's pronounced that way. You know... If you use plz for an example, 'pl' would be pl (as in please) but the 'z' would be Zzzzzzz. Then the pronouncation would be pl-z. Do you get my point? Well, yeah, it is Chat Speak, so of course it would be weird but...... 'plz' shouldn't be pronunced 'please' because it's pl-z. It should be written as 'plez' probabaly. And cuz is fine... because 'cuz' is 'cuz'.

I sort of agree, but most chatspeak is ok.

Most of the time,ChatSpeak is abreveations.Like 'OMG' is Oh my god/gosh/goodness.Or 'BTW' By the way. Even 'WTF' What the fudge?![ ]

I hate chatspeak, it's so annoying to see someone degrading the english language.
It's not just "plz" and "cuz" either. Someone can be mispelling all the time and that would also be considered "leet" or "l34t".

I totally agree. Really annoying and some people don't understand it and it all becomes really hard for some people.

I can't read StUfF lIkE tHiS eItHeR. But I can understand chat speak, if u no wat i meen. XD

I DO understand chatspeak, but I don't like it...
